With Valentines Day fast approaching, I thought it would be lovely to create something pretty for my front door. This inexpensive succulent heart door hanging came together in no time.

I gathered all of my supplies for this project at Target in the Dollar Spot section. I picked up the painted heart plaque and succulent garland for $3 a piece. The pink pom trim was only $1. I only ended up using one of them for this project. So, the total cost is only $7 + tax!

First, I applied the pink pom trim to the edge of the heart using Aleene’s Tacky Glue.

What a difference just adding the trim makes!

I removed the felt succulents from the garland. It was so simple. They just slide right off.

Finally, I placed 6 of the 8 succulents in a decorative pattern and adhered them with Aleene’s Tacky Glue.

Hopefully, your Target has these same supplies. If not, the Dollar Spot has lots other wonderful options to make something beautiful for your home. Be creative!
