For this weeks project, I initially was going to make an Easter egg out of ping pong balls similar to the Candy Corn Pingpong Ball Art I made this past Halloween. Then, I begin thinking about creating something that would be fun for Easter, but could stick around all year.
This simplistic, yet bold sign with its cheeky saying is perfect displayed here amongst my Peeps Inspired Bunny Decorations. Once Easter is over, it’ll look great hanging in my kitchen.

First, I painted a square piece of scrap wood (I found in an alley) Daffodil Yellow.
After a few coats and the paint dried completely, I penciled on my egg and painted it white. I recommend Titanium White.
Using some letter stencils I had on hand, I placed out my saying and traced it onto my board.
Finally, I went over my penciled on letters with a black paint pen.
Eggscuse me, but I think it looks great. Lastly, I added a black and white striped Washi tape border to the top and bottom of my piece.
