Ok, this project isn’t rocket science. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive backdrop for your next party, I have just the thing! All you need to create this festive crepe paper backdrop is crepe paper, tape and a pair of scissors.

I used 4 different colored rolls of crepe paper for my backdrop. Since, crepe paper is so inexpensive and comes in a wide range of colors and patterns, this project can be customized for any event. I absolutely love the polka dot paper.

Tape two pieces of crepe paper together. Then, secure to the top of a a blank wall with tape. Twist the crepe paper strand until twisted to the bottom of wall. Cut of excess and tape strand to the bottom of wall.

Tape the strands side by side until the backdrop is your desired size.

So cute! So easy!

I hung paper fans in front of my backdrop in coordinating colors. These same fans were used on my Christmas tree this past holiday season.

It’s great for photo taking. My wonderfully artistic friend Mira looks beautiful in front of the backdrop. It would also look great behind a buffet or present table.
