- Plant And Garden
RUN to your nearest dollar store and pick up some chips and dip trays because I have an awesome project for you.
I’m always excited to share projects on the blog, but this one I am extremely thrilled about.
I’m going to show you how to make these flower stepping stones for your garden using chips and dip trays! You can make three for under $10!

Yes, chips and dip trays!
This projects tutorial is very similar to the Concrete Garden Orb I constructed this past April. Check out that posting here.
Ok, here’s what you’ll need-
- Concrete Mix and Concrete Mixing Supplies
- 3 Chips and Dip Trays
- Non Stick Cooking Spray
These make a lovely accent in the garden.
Here’s a video tutorial (with a few extra tips) of me making them on Hallmark’s Hom
e & Family.

I would love to try this but have never worked with concrete. Can you give me an idea about how much to mix up for 3 of these, the concrete mix and water amounts? I saw you on Home and Family and absolutely loved these!!!
Thank you so much!
Love these!! What a terrific idea! I watched the clip from Home and Family….and you did great. I miss Christina!!! If I can find the chip & dip trays…I’m going to try these. Thanks!
There’s glow in the dark paint now. Wouldn’t that look cool?
I’m gonna try to make about 5 of these , where would I buy the glow in the dark paint?
