I’ve been wanting to make a peace sign wreath for awhile. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. This project is extremely inexpensive and easy to make.

When I spotted these two faux pine wreaths at Dollar Tree a few weeks ago, I  knew this would be the perfect project to kick off my Christmas posting. I  picked up a 15in wreath and a 18in one.

Using a pair of wire cutters, I cut the 15in wreath in half.

I laid one piece down the center of my 18in wreath and attached it by twisting the ends around the other wreath. Use wire cutters to cut off any excess.

I  formed the other piece into an upside down “v”.

To create the piece sign, I  attached the upside down “v” to the center of the middle piece using floral wire and twisted the ends to the bottom portion of the wreath.

Usually a wreath would be fluffed, but for this one I tightly twisted the pine needles around the wreath.

Lastly, I hot glued on a few miniature ornaments and attached a piece of ribbon for easy hanging. The world could use a little more peace. This wreath offers a friendly reminder.

  1. What a memory! When we were first married and very poor, we made a giant peace sign from coat hangers and wrapped it in lights to hang outside. Thanks for reminding me!

    • How wonderful! Maybe its time to make another one!
