Hello, friends! It’s been a minute. After a much needed and longer break than anticipated, I’m back! I recently had an amazing opportunity to present one of my projects to the world on national television!

I entered a DIY star competition for Home and Family on the Hallmark Channel and was chosen as one of twenty five finalists. Here I am on set with Dave Coulier, Toni Tennille (she’s the sweetest) and the Home and Family gang!!!
After talking with the producers, we decided that I would show an updated version of my Flower Stepping Stone project. The original posting can be found here.
Home and Family hosts, Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare were so friendly and helpful.

Although, I’m not the contest grand prize winner, I had an absolutely incredible experience. Meeting and chatting with Toni Tennille was definitely a highlight. The entire Home and Family team were awesome and soaking up some rays in LA was a nice retreat from Chicago’s often drab skies.
Being on the show and receiving so much support from friends, family members and (best of all) total strangers has given me renewed faith in my talents and a desire to create more.
So stay tuned because more projects and ideas are on the way!
