Hey, Gators! I’m so excited to be once again partnering with my friends at Treetopia. In the past, I’ve decked out a few Treetopia trees for Halloween. Two of my favorites were my DIY Queens and Kings tree and my TV tree. This Halloween, Treetopia asked me and twelve other creators to design trees with the theme of 13 Haunting Tales. In other words, a scary story themed tree.

I decided to go Neon Nessie for this challenge. Who doesn’t love hearing tales about the Loch Ness Monster? Treetopia kindly sent me this beautiful 6ft Tuxedo Black Tree w/ Clear Led Lights for Nessie to swim through.

The party really gets going at night! I handmade the decorations and painted them with neon acrylic paint. Nessie was created using corrugated plastic and the waves are made out of black poster board. A blacklight really makes the decorations pop.

As part of the 13 Haunting Tales campaign, Treetopia is giving away three $100 Treetopia Gift Cards. Enter to win here! They will also be hosting a scavenger hunt starting Oct. 7th!

More Halloween goodness is on the way. If you’re in need of more spookiness now, check out my Man-Eating PodsBlobs or my Witches In The Window display. Happy Haunting!
