I wanted to share this craft pumpkin that I decorated with neon mason twine. I’m really pleased with how it turned out!  I drew inspiration from Day of the Dead sugar skulls.

Neon mason twine is black light reactive and really takes this pumpkin to the next level when illuminated.

Although, I’m not providing a tutorial for this project, here are some behind the scenes pics of the process. In a way, it’s similar to the wrapped Easter eggs I created last Easter. Check out that how-to here.

Spooky!

Getting there!

Pardon the mess, it and that bottle of Sriracha are part of the creative process! I swear!

Craft pumpkins are great because you can use them year after year.

Hopefully these pics have you feeling inspired to create a pumpkin of your own.

I’d love to see your creations. Email me some pics at slumberingalligator@gmail.com.
